Garmin Livescope feedback

I have been an avid user of my Vexlar FL8 for many years. I happen to see a video on the Livescope and was amazed. I really like the way it can display out what’s out to the sides. Anyone use the Garmin on a regular basis to have some feedback on it? I also see they are not cheap. Any alternative options that have similar functionality and maybe less expensive?

You can get all the feedback one would want, over on this site. Good and bad! Take it all with a grain of salt, LS is a very useful tool!

I got the setup in the spring. For crappies it’s like cheating. If your in a spot holding fish, it is very easy to stay on them. Can’t wait to use on ice.
