Has anyone been able to see both side by side? Specifically in MN (like Mille Lacs and Minnetonka) and also Canadian Lake of the Woods? How do they compare? I’m really leaning to the Garmin Echomap Plus 73 over the Helix 7, but I don’t know anything about the LakeVu maps.
FWIW, I have the Garmin Echomap with the LakeVu maps. I have not been able to directly compare the two, but I will say, my LakeVu maps have seemed to be very accurate. Would highly recommend any Garmin unit.
Most lakes are very good however some are missing things that should be there. Many would never notice but I find some lake of structure on certain lake pretty bad other lakes are very well done.
I believe lake view maps now include Navionics. Since Garmin aquired navionics.
