Just ordered the boat and don’t have it yet. If you have any experience installing 12″ Garmin displays at the helm of a Competitor 205 side console, I would appreciate your recommendations. Will install at least one att the helm, thinking probably on a RAM mount. Would like to put two at the helm, but I only have one photo of the helm console (have never seen this model, except in photos) and it looks like too little space for two.
I’m thinking of adding a house battery beside the starting battery, wired through a battery on/off switch to a fuse block under the console, and dedicated to the electronics. All chartplotters and Livescope black box would be connected to the helm fuse block.
If I can’t put two at the helm, I’ll put two at the bow. Any tips for that bow mounting/wiring would be appreciated, too.
