Garmin 73SV update.

    Hi All, I have 2 Garmin 73SV on my boat. I have never updated. Should I update, or are there reasons that I should not? I bought these deeply discounted during the fuss with Humminbird or Lowarance of whatever it was. Your opinions and experience are most welcome. Thanks you all. Be safe.

    Iv had minr for i think 4 years now and i haven’t had to update it. Not sure there’s any benefit?

    I have not updated mine either. Is there a really a benefit? Mine seems to work fine and function fine.

    If there is a benefit I would do it. Just haven’t heard of one??

    I did the update. Why wouldn’t you? You can find out what the changes are on Garmin website. It will tell you as you download

    I had an issue last year with mine but don’t remember what it was any more. The update fixed the issue.
