When I logged off work around 5 last night we had about 4″ of the wettest and sloppiest snow all over. I knew it was going to be a slog dragging the can back to the garage down my 200′ driveway, so I decided to put it on the tailgate and use my truck. When I got to my truck a pine bough that’s normally 12′ off the ground was touching the hood of my truck, so I knew I made the right choice. Got that one shook off and brushed off the truck and retrieved the can. I decided to park it in a different part of my driveway because it was still snowing. The wind really picked up and branches started dropping all over the yard. This morning there were two 10′ boughs thicker than my arm laying where my truck had been. I’m glad the neighbor kids were visiting their dad because one of them usually brings in the can for us.
