Thanks Dutch for the advise. This is the type of stuff I would like the contractor to work with me on.
I understand, however if you know some answers to the questions before interviewing a contractor it will help to weed out a bad contractor. You can go to your local lumber yard and ask at the lumber desk. They will know the good builders from the bad builders.
