Garage Heater Size – MN

    Going to install a gas heater in my garage. Garage size is 1000sq ft or 5 car on a house that was recently built. Looking at getting a 80k BTU unit.

    I live in the twin cities area of Minnesota.

    Those with heaters is tbis a big enough unit? Other option is 125k BTU but the size is much larger.

    I plan to keep it heated enough to evaporate the water off the floor inside and occasionally turn it up when working out there.

    I think you would be satisfied with a 75 or 80k unit. Most of the garages I build are in the 900 to 1100 sqft range and that is what we install
