I had a spring break this morning that I need to replace. I took all the measurements and pulled off the existing springs and cables. Looking for a place to pick up springs, cables, and possibly a new door. Any recommendations on where to go in the north metro?

Think home depot or lowes carries that stuff.

I checked both home depot and menards and both have springs. Like typical fashion for the box stores not what I need.

I will try calling industrial and see what they have.

Bring everything you want to replace because they want to give you the right parts the first time!

This is really not a do it yourself job. For that reason you will not find the springs you need at home depot, lowes or menards. That is if the spring is on a torsion bar.

If it is a stretch spring on a small door, you can do that yourself safely.

Reliable garage door company had what I needed.

All of which stores do carry tension springs just not the correct size for my door. They were either to large or small.
