Guys, my vintage circa 1965 wooden garage door is shot. Yeah, I know, what a surprise…

I’m in the East Metro, anyone have any recommendations for the go-to guys / company for a replacement? I don’t need the gold plated treatment, this is a detached garage so it’s not worth a high end door, high R value, etc.

If it helps, I have a tendency to pay cash for jobs like this… whistling

All Seasons Garage Door out of Ramsey. They serve all parts of the metro, and I know the owners personally.

Pretty sure I used Reliable for same day service when my spring broke. Expensive but did good work.

These guys probably won’t be your cheapest option, but they’ll do a perfect job for you and they’re located in West St. Paul:

    Thanks for all the recommendations.

Just looked at the sticker on my garage door opener, and CDS is the outfit that originally installed the opener and I’ve gone there for parts when the drive gear stripped out. Agree they had good service, may give them a call and get an estimate.

I really don’t want to spend a ton of money, but the old wooden door is binding badly this summer and it’s rotten on the bottom. It’s a safety thing now, so it’s gotta go.

Garage door work and cheap are never in the same sentence unless you do it yourself.
