$20 off a $50 purchase…. regular price stuff – that’s 40% off – and I’ve never seen a deal like this.

Not sure if this is connected to their troubles, but I’m stocking up on line, cranks and some items that don’t go on sale often…..

Yea, standard Gander deal when they come is $20 off $100. Gulp, Pflueger reels, terminal tackle, I have $300 in cards, going to get everything I can’t get on sale and just stock up.

Already got an e-order in and got the last Pfluger President 20 series reel in WI, $39.99 and a spool of Suffix braid, out the door for $37.

So…..Could a guy print a bunch off and instead of getting $20 off $200, just break his purchases down into $50 groups, multiple trips and save $80? Asking for a friend.

I have two e-orders in to do just that, and will walk in and out of the store twice if need be when I drive by one this afternoon. Trick is getting just over the $50 mark.

Stopped in the Eden Prairie store…There must have been 25 cars in the lot which is the most I have seen a very long time.

There were a lot of sharks circling looking for deals. The standard store deal was $20 off a $100 purchase and they told me you need the paper coupon for the better deal. Met another customer who had a few extra $20 off a $50 purchase so he gave me one.

Found a deal on a Shimano Saraha 1000 – even better when it was the demo model and was even more discounted. Had to buy some line to just go over the $50 marl. I left happy

You can have them scan the coupon off your phone multiple times. It works. No need for paper coupons.

Chuck, thanks for sharing this. I burned a few copies of the coupon, jumped in the truck and headed to town. I’ve had my eye on a St. Croix 2pc md-hvy rod to keep in the car trunk. When I got there they didn’t have any of the md-heavy 2pc rods left, a salesman said they sent most of the St. Croix’s to Wisconsin two weeks ago. The only 2pc St. Croix they had was a medium wt Triumph, so I grabbed it. It came to $75 out the door.

I also looked at the Plueger Presidents, they had half a dozen models in stock. But then I spotted some Plueger Supremes clearanced down to under $80. With the coupon it was $62 out the door. Then I made a third trip back in and got a second Supreme.

Got all my shopping done online yesterday new spinning combo and some baits

Why didn’t I check the store for a Supreme. I didn’t know they were clearanced.

Used a coupon for a 7′ Fenwick HMG rod. Went home to order a Supreme 30 online using the coupon again and they were nowhere to be found. Checked Cabelas. Same thing. Gone.

Found one on Amazon for $87 free shipping. I hope they replace it with something similar.
