We didn’t go this year. I like to go about every 2-3 years, but the weather was just too hot the first weekend and we had other commitments last weekend.

    It’s a great summer show.

He cooled off in the water a few times, but by about noon, the heat was wearing on him.

Did they let people in the water, too? LOL that would have been the only way for me to cool off. mrgreen

Sure, but you’d have to retrieve a duck. I have seen you retrieve a pheasant, so why not a duck? rotflol

One positive from Game Fair was that several people recognized Ripley as a Spinone–that hardly ever happens. And quite a few more people now know what a Spinone is. Heck, we even bumped into a little Spinone pup!

That’s a Spinone? Looks like a Wire-Haired Pointer! I’m glad people recognized Ripley’s breed, that’s gotta be fun. Hopefully no one said,

Sure is. The ears are a dead giveaway. His name was Enzo, and he was 4-months old.

Yep, I see it now in the ears and face. Much rounder than a WHP. Great name, Enzo!

Did anyone go this weekend? I think I am going to bring Ripley on Saturday–maybe bring the FW and kids, too. He’s been working on his dock jumps and water retrieves. waytogo

I was considering going but the forecast looks way too hot/humid now. The news paper says 90 degrees and significantly more humid. Not only is that too much for my dog, its too much for me.

They backed off on the high temps. I might do this.
