Game fair

The outdoor news is advertising the game fair in a few weeks. I’ve never been to it. So my question is, is it worth the admission and parking fee to go check it out???

Like I said never been there??!

If you’re into bird hunting and dogs it’s worth it. IMO it’s more geared toward that than deer.

Duck hunting specifically it seems, there’s more every year. There just isn’t that much “stuff” to advertise for upland. Even if you just like dogs though I’d go once to see the events and the trick shooting and stuff. You can bring your dog, tons of people do.

Yeah, it’s fun, but like mentioned, it’s geared towards waterfowl. I usually bring Ripley and do some of the events with him (dock jumps, retrieves). We brought the kids last time. They enjoyed it–lots of dogs.

Yes, it’s a fun event. The trick shooter and various seminars are worth checking out as well.

I grew up and my parents still live right outside the gate. Used to go a couple times per year when I lived there.

Don’t forget to support the local Lions chapter and park at Central Park.
