Full waves topping the breakwater. No splash there today….roll right over the top. It was that way the day after you and I met BG.
October 10, 2018 at 2:57 pm #1802823So I’m guessing you weren’t out there chasing steelies?
I made 2 downrigger balls so far. I melted and repoured one I already had too. They look pretty good. Thanks!
B-manPosts: 5456October 10, 2018 at 3:28 pm #1802833Only 16′-20′ waves out there today…..
I would’ve went fishing if they were 12′-15′

Canal Park businesses are closed. Its gotten worse since I last posted. Watching the Two Harbors camera I saw one wave roll over the wall about 400 feet from the lighthouse and when it went under the lighthouse it was half way up to the house itself. The Canal Park cam shows waves breaking over the retaining wall and running down the pedestrian walk-way next to the canal.
This is something to see even if I’ve seen it before. I wonder if the idiot surfers are out in this?
October 10, 2018 at 8:53 pm #1802913To bad my surf board is in the shop or I’d be out there.
You can use mine…

October 11, 2018 at 5:13 am #1802939Its amazing what Mother Nature can dish out! Seeing some of the videos of the waves throwing boulders up on the lake walk and beyond is just mind blowing. The power those waves have is incredible!! I would like to see it in person someday.
