I purchased a new Lund Fury XL SS this year as a summer lake boat.
I keep it primarily on a dock but occasionally pull it to do day trips to other lakes.
I’ve noticed that rain water tends to collect in the cupholders that are built in along the rear gunwhales next to the rear bench/platform. The cupholders have a drain hole in the bottom.
When I pull out the cupholders the solid foam fill is exposed and the hole left by the removed cupholders are still full of water.
Anyone else notice this? Is it just the void in the foam holding the water or is it possible the whole core is now saturated?
