I will second that. We have done quite a few upgrades to older boats with the new style jack and I cant say a single person has complained that it wasn’t worth the money.
August 11, 2014 at 10:29 am #1445054Those new Fulton jacks could serve double-duty as landing gear on a passenger plane… they’re BEEFY.
Zach HPosts: 374August 13, 2014 at 8:01 pm #1445585I am assuming this is something that I will be able to put on my 2012 MX? Appears to be the same set up. I have wanted to upgrade to the F2 jack for awhile.
August 13, 2014 at 10:17 pm #1445608Yep Zach you will be able to upgrade your trailer to the F2 jack with the adapter plate, and install’s a snap.
August 20, 2014 at 8:37 am #1446989I found my adapter & jack online for $160 shipped after getting another site to price match. The hard part was finding a site that sells both, seems the adapter isn’t sold by everyone.
August 20, 2014 at 9:28 am #1447007I am currious if anyone knows if this addaptor plate would fit a “lund” aka Shorelander trailer? Seems like it would bolt right up using the addaptor plate.
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

If it uses the single bolt on attachment and the anti-twist pin is located in the same spot, then it “should” . Probably best to ask a Lund dealer or go look at one on a lot.
August 20, 2014 at 10:07 am #1447025How does it turn on concrete when pushing boat around?
Mwal
Night & day difference over Fulton XP jack…the 8″ wheel has a ton of surface area on it and the twist point is much smoother on the F2, I couldn’t be happier…

Has anyone retrofit the Fulton to a Shoreland’r. My “DL” is a POS!
May 8, 2015 at 7:28 pm #1542693I didn’t go with the Fulton pictured above but did find another heavy duty option. Has the knott brand name and Cabelas in Rodgers or Hannays in St. Anthony both carry or can order for about $60 and has held up great so far. Has a larger wheel and double pin set up instead of single on the pivot. It did require some work and slight modification to install. As seen in the second picture I had to remove the entire winch stand to remove the old stand and install the new one. I also had to file down the pins slightly to match the existing holes in the winch stand. Another option would have been to drill the holes out a bit but I preferred to modify the pins instead of the winch stand in case I went to something else in the future.
Also make sure to mark the existing winch stand before removing so you can put it back in the exact right spot if you do go this rout. They also come with a bracket to bolt to the trailer frame if you have a different trailer configuration but I was set on using the location pictured.
Send me a pm if you have further questions.
