Its going to be the 8th of November, deer will pop up in places and at times you would never expect them to be in this time of year regardless of any trend or ‘normal’ behavior.
I don’t put as much weight into the moon phase as some do, but if I see any trend it would be later morning movement during a full moon, any maybe a slight pattern towards less evening movement (so long as there is not cloud cover). A warm spell (which we seem to usually get in early November (except this year) will drive deer nocturnal no doubt.
Couldn’t tell you what the moon was but of my last 5 bucks taken in the WI gun season, only 1 of them was during that traditional first or last 2 hours of daylight, the other 4 all in the in-between hours. (all on natural movement, not drives)
About the only thing you can count on as a guarantee with deer in November is that you can’t see/shoot them if your not out there.
