Has anyone put full canvas on their Skeeter WX1850? I am talking snap down cover for the bow, stand up bimini with the clear isinglass, plus full sides and back. If you did, where did you have it done and are you happy? Also any input on the cost of the project is greatly appreciated.

Check with Canvas Craft. They are located on Hwy. 101 in Otsego. I would estimate somewhere between $700 & $1,200 I think.

I had a Bimini & full travel cover done for my 19′ Crestliner last year and it was around $2100.

They do EXCELLENT work. Another option would be Top Gun down in Shakopee. I have my seats down there being redone now.

Canvas Craft has done a few for us. The last one we had done I want to say was in the $1800 range. They do very nice work!

If you don’t mind the drive to save some $$$, give Wayne Satterlee a call. He owns Custom Boat Covers in Dunkerton IA (319) 234-5416. He does a great job — He will be booked a few months out, but wouldn’t hurt to get a quote. Tell him I sent ya, maybe hell chew some off the price waytogo

Does anyone have pictures of your attaching mechanism, or how the bimini/fishing top is stowed when not in use? Lund stores theirs on the floor. Others lay on top of the rear casting platform, or they lay across the beam. I’m curious what has worked best for Skeeter owners to stow the top (in the boat) when not in use.
