Have a new WX 2190. Very surprised boat didn’t come with Fuel/H20 separator but wondering where others have installed/mounted on their boat. If anyone has pic, that would be great too. Thanks

I’m astonished that a boat of that size and price does not come with a separator.

Racor is the gold standard of filter/separators. Mounting depends on your options for routing the fuel lines and what space is available. Mount in a compartment if you can route the fuel lines.

Look under the jump seat with the batteries undernieth down in there you should see a big blue canister filter. Thats where it is in the 1900.

Mine looks like a big oil filter and I had it mounted in the splashwell.
    Don’t know brand.

A must have for any sized boat.

That is standard on all Skeeter/ Yamaha powered boats.

In your splash well right behind your main is a black plastic cover. Take it off, look on the stern up nice and tight to the splash well, it is mounted right there in a couple of my buddies 2190s. Its a pain to get to but its right there.

wow, thanks. I had actually taken the cover off previously and looked around in there and could not find (see) it. But after your note, I reached in tight to the splash well and found it. But it is not visible at all so changing it would be done blindly. Unless you need to remove the live wall or something else to access and view it appropriately. Has anyone changed one on a 2190 and have advice? Thanks.
