Anybody stream through these guys? I signed up last weekend and got Ballys Sports North and also Marque Sports for 1 or 2 days. Now Ballys is gone and Marque says I can’t get the Cubs due to territory restrictions. Anybody else?

Welcome to bait and switch tv. We signed a 2-year contract with Dish Network. For me the sole interest was watching hockey on NBC sports Chicago. Before the season, they cut ties, and I had no hockey for 2 years. Also lost half my outdoor networks. Spent 2 years watching reruns of crap I watched for free on regular tv.

Well if I can’t get Ballys i’ll just drop the service. I’m there for the Twins the rest is just fluff I can do without.

Someday we will be able to stream what we want to watch and only that. I would pay for a service to get Bally’s but the app has been such a POS that it is easier to just stream off the web for free.

Ive watched every sporting event on the planet with just an internet connection and without a streaming service.

I’m watching the Twins at the moment on Fubo. Not sure why you wouldn’t be getting it.

Thanks I thought it weird also. I’ll try and look into it tomorrow although I think they are on Fox tomorrow night.

We went from Comcast to FUBO w/Verizon. Saving about $80/month combined. I have moved the CC billing around on FUBO and will save another $105 over four months or so via FUBO discounts.

It is not as instantaneous as Comcast, but FUBO works well and I inadvertently am recording every Twins game right now.

    Very pleased with the change.

Streaming and TEAMs internet meetings run well on the Verizon box (at least where I live).

If FUBO drops Bally Sports or Ballys goes under thus losing the Twins and Wild … there are cheaper streaming TV options out there. You pay about $20/month extra to watch those teams on Ballys via FUBO vs. some other very good streaming options.

It’s $85 a month for me. Utube and Hulu are around 75. Once baseball season is over I’ll probably go back to Hulu as their movie selection is probably better and I don’t really care to watch the Twolves.

I just signed up last weekend and I believe it was around $85 and should include Bally’s. I know last weekend the Twins were on and I also watched the Cubs on Marquee.

First 7 days on FUBO are free.

FUBO has added taxes just like Comcast, just not quite as much.

FUBO charges $10.99 for the local sports (Ballys, etc) subscriptions. I do not believe it is optional though.

FUBO is offering credit across quite a few credit cards right now too. Temporary cost downs.

Youtube and Hulo are lower priced, but you don’t get the Wild and Twins if on Ballys that day.

I’ve weaned myself to about 2 hours of tv a day, in the evening. My attempt to be able to follow a team with a 2-year dish contract is frustrating. Along with the agenda that comes with a lot of pro athletes. I have become a #1 fan of high school sports, little league world series and You Tube fishing, hog hunting and my latest iguana hunting with 30 cal. air rifles and “Otto” the wirehaired pointer in south Florida. As it was NHL was the only pro sport I was down to watching. Saw very few games till the playoffs.
I’m real near going to the antenna I’ve already installed, to have tv when it rains, or the wind blows. Till we do we are going to keep getting the same old same old.

Side track question since there are a lot of people who probably know more about TV and streaming than me in this thread:

Is YouTube TV the only one that lets you watch multiple channels at once (I think up to 4?).

I like streaming multiple HS football games that are on YouTube channels if I’m too lazy to catch one in person, and occasionally we will have people over for CFB parties or NCAA March Madness gamble and drinkathons.

Fubo advertises that they do but I haven’t tried it.
