Open water for the opener this year?

    The eagle eye cab looks a teeny bit better than at this point last year. Are we going to have ice this year? Any ice out projections?

    I think your spot on in your thoughts. Look for the ice to get a serious “BEAT DOWN” this week with warm temps and rain called for later in the week.

    Eagle-eye cam showing some darker ice. I am predicting 4/30 ice out!

    The bay w/ the eagle eye cam only has a little floating ice out in the distance. Hopefully Big Bay will open this week.

    Things are setting up perfectly for a great opener!
