Hi All,
The walleye action is heating up here on Vermilion. Typical summer patterns are producing limits and a few large walleyes. Lindy rigs/jigs tipped with a crawler, have been the go to presentations for most anglers I have talked to this week.
Mainlake reefs and rockpiles, along with windblow mainlake points have been producing very well. I’m using plain lindy rigs, with 3ft snells of Berkly Vanish. Just a bead or 2 with a #6 red hook. Some days the colors of the beads doesn’t seem to make much of a difference, on others it’s the difference between catching a few and getting your limit.
Have a great week!
