Hey guys. I just got back from fishing and guiding for the Gov. Opener on the Big V. Compared to last year, the fishing was pretty tough. We lindy riggged and jigged rainbow chubs for the most part in 16-21 and 26-32 feet of water. I even caught one in 5 feet, but I didn’t spend too much time in that area. The fish were biting really light, and giving them a lot of line was key. My boat saw 22 walleyes make it the boat. As always, I couldn’t find the big fish, with the largest one being about 19.5 inches. It wasn’t bad fishing, but it wasn’t the fast and furious action we had the last few years. The water temp was about 48 degrees. Thanks
Tony
