Hi All,
Many parts of the Big V are open so it shouldn’t be more than a week or two before she opens up. The water is much higher than last year and I venture to say, it looks like we could have a normal spring for a change. 
Pike bay is about half open today and the wind is really blowing the ice out fast. The DNR has started trapping walleyes at the Pike river hatchery, however the run hasn’t started in ernest just yet. 
Opener is just a month away!
