    Only 5 days left. Man, am I getting impatient or what . I’m hoping for a good bite, as we have a bunch of new guys coming up with us regulars (total group of 9) and I want them to get into fish. The weather sounds like it might be a bit cool and wet on Saturday, but who cares, it’s opener in MN. We will be starting off in Norwegian Bay, so if any one is up that way and sees a blue/white Ranger 620, give a wave.

    Good luck to all those opening on the beautiful Big V. Stay safe and practice selective harvest.

    Hey Dean,
    The weather gods are calling for partly sunny and 50 degrees on Saturday. It will only be in the high 20 to low 30’s in the morning. We should have known it after it was 70 degrees last Saturday.

    Water temps are around 50 but that will change if we get 20 degree lows the rest of the week. Sounds like a normal crappy northern Minnesota opener to me.
