My family and I are gonna be fishing Vermilion for the first time the first weekend of September out of Wakemup Bay and I’m looking for any help with Muskie Location(i.e. rock, weeds, etc.) and presentation.

I would try the rock reefs and break lines of the rock reefs. also look for bait fish on your graph off deep structure suspended and try some bull dog type baits or suspending cranks/jerk baits. Also think outside the box most people fish around the islands and weed lines casting from deep to shallow try the opposite i have great success with that approach. Also another thing to look at is the water temp and wind direction. good luck and look forward to seeing some pics of some skis

what esox hunter said is pretty much right on. also vermilion seems to be a moonrise/ moonset lake as most of our big fish have came during these periods. look up the moonphases and times and make sure u are on a good spot at that time. good luck and make sure2 report back
