Does anyone know if a resort called At-so-ken (spelled something like that)located on an island just north of Jackfish Bay on Rainy Lake is still open?

I’ve never heard of anything like it on Rainy. There is an Ash-Ka-Nam Resort on the Ash River just off Lake Kabetogama.

It had a website about 6 years ago. Used it for a model business plan. And, used to boat by it every day I was on lake. It was located on island east of white marker that begins the inland channel that runs by jackfish bay and bald rock. From what I’ve NOT seen, it appears alot of the old resorts have fallen by the wayside. Or maybe they’re so busy they don’t need advertising. Plan on making the trip to Rainy after 4th of July. Will check out the “old” fishing holes.

Might have changed names?? There is one island close to your described area that has some cabins and is owned privately. The owner brings guests to stay. Don’t really think it is open to the general public. BTW I live outside Bald Rock Narrows on Tilson Bay. Have a great trip in July!! Awesome walleye fishing!!

I belive that At-So-Ken SP? is private owned now. If im thinking of the right island, on most maps its called roberts island.
