How is the lake shaping up after this warm spell. Looks like the snow is leaving the lake quick watching the web cam but the cooler temps next week should set things back up. Planning to head up 3/30 so we are trying to determine the mode of transportation, will it be truck, sled or wheelers? Thanks for the info.
The Snow on the lake has melted and now the lake is POLISHED ice. Tough on sleds as there is little lubrication for your slides. It will melt down again so you will have some slush to help lubricate soon. Right now travel is difficult. I’m not sure if I’d be comfortable in a truck out there myself. Snowmobile or atv……..6 one way 1/2 dozen the other. 
We plan to head up to the North Arm also so I was wondering if anyone has a favorite spot to get on the lake at. We’ve gone on at Northwest Bay in the past but looking for a spot closer to the South. We’ve used 5 mile in the summer time but heard the causeway can be iffy in the winter. Thanks for the help.
Not much help there. I’m fishing the US side and not familiar with ice conditions their this year.
