Got you wondering didn’t I Settle down!!

It is Polaris Touring Edge 550, but it is our new BABY!!!! The Fishing Queen said it is very Cushy!!

BOYS….We’re looking to add 1 more sled to bring us up to (4) 2-ups so groups of 4-7 people + Yours Truly will be accomodated without having to bring their own sleds if they prefer to use our equipment on ice trips.

We are looking to add a 4 stroke 2-up; Bearcat, Panther, Pantera or Polaris. We are open to suggestions though; Tundra, scandic…..Doesn’t have to be a 4 stroke, but with gas prices it sounds attractive right about now!! Right now we’re running 3 polaris touring sleds, but wouldn’t be against putting a different manufacturere to the test!! Let me know if you might have something you don’t want to throw into storage until next year.

LOL!! Well she did have to open up the garage door and watch her toes!! In all honesty I THINK she’s a bit more excited to see “Sho Time”. She has some friends lined up for a few joy rides. Girls DO like sparkly stuff.

Thanks Guys!! If that sled only new what was in the future for it. It would definately enjoy this rest period inside the heated garage!!

I think I’m going to have auger racks made extending off the front suspension on 2 of our sleds. I’ve seen plently off back boxes on snowmobiles, but just don’t know if I want to add any more weight to the back suspsension. My back currently……SAY NO!! My thinking is pinned in arms off the front suspension that can be removed.

One never has enough toys or stuff.

About a month ago my bride looked on the garage wall and said why do you need 22 open water rods, I said the same reason you need a pair of shoes for every outfit.

Took care of that small issue.

Congrats. I’m also searching for the “right” 2-up. If I come across anything I’ll be sure to point you in that direction.

    Thanks Kooty

I’ve got to believe there will be a few guys out there who don’t want to store it during the off season or want some $$ in hand to upgrade into new models next fall.

Very nice addition to the fleet Chris. I am sure you gearing up to get the new boat soon too. I am getting ready to order the new boat this week. I’m sure I will see you on the ice this weekend.

Chris. Personally I would think parts availability and that you already have 3 other polaris sleds.

Though you have a few different models there is still some parts swaping that can be done if you get into a “Bush Bind”.

We run all ski-doo in the Mtns and having the same sleds has more than once saved the day.

Probly just preaching to the chior. Haha

One side note about fabricating an auger mount.I belive you mentioned pinning it to the suspension?

I would not reccomend going off the suspension. The auger would be bouncing all over the place. Every bump you hit would transfer thus moving the auger. Fab it from the frame or a stationary point of the slead.

    That’s all I got…

    Hey Mark

Valid points on sticking to a brand for part swapping should I ever have a breakdown!! LOL!! I probably will stick to Polaris at this point for that reason.

As for the auger mounting I guess I meant of the front posts and not directly into the suspension as I too undertand that might be……..NOT GOOD!!

Thanks for the advice Mark!! I figure I need 4 sleds to have 3 functioning!!
