OK MERCY!! My shovel is beading up with sweat from repeated efforts to clear the ski hill leading to our home. After the initial 8 inches of snow…….. the National Weather service has snowshoed out onto a limb while issuing a WINTER STORM WARNING for the majority of “Manland”. Needless to say the increased R Value will NOT help ice formation, but might just sink it so we can start over. On the otherhand were bunkered in on top of the hill and the Queen says she’s gonna spike the Egg Nog, and put in “Christmas Vacation”!! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!……OH….I MEAN….HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

… WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT…

***A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT.***

Hi Joe As Ben mentioned our water in many areas has a Dark Tea Stain to it. We did some filming this fall, and I was suprised that with the NEW Marcum cameras out this year that are now 3X brighter we were able to see ok. Now in a bit shallower water or in different areas on the lake you would be able so see pretty well. It will depend on the area of the lake your fishing as well as the depths.

What a great photo Chris, the SNOW sure has arrived over the past few days , but now all we need is some ice. With about a foot of snow on the ground it’s time to think about Ice Fishing, Snowmobiling and of course Christmas shopping. Here at Rainy Lake One Stop we carry the Otter fish houses & sleds, Jiffy augers, Vexilar flashers, Clam-ice armor, HJC snowmobile clothing & helmets, and so much much more for your winter fishing needs. New for us this year is the Frabill sno suit, we are very excited about this items and can’t wait to see the response.
Stop in have a cup of coffee and take a look around.

We also have a great opportunity for full and part time work, e-mail me at [email protected] if you would like to find out more.
