Especially when the big Walleyes are getting angry!! A day after our Houseboat excursion…….AFTER the Fury of “Ma Nature” was a distant memory I was able to slide the “Daze Fish Casket” over some familiar water. It was no suprise the Big walleyes were Darn Angry!! Feed bag………ON!! Congrats on the nice fish Boys!! Nice to share the boat with you!! Also……Nice shorelunch too!!

Of course the day we left it was sunny and calm too so this is no surprise. I know a couple of those boats in our group that fished Saginaw on Sunday AM before leaving absolutely rocked the fish. What’s a guy to do.
There simply is NO substitute for living on Rainy Lake. We have clearly defined what I would pick as one of the absolute SELECT timeframes to catch tank fish on Rainy with our annual Houseboat Excursion, but Weather is the ultimate trump card. As Fishing finatics this group clearly understands a touch of stability would have had drastically different totals. Still take those conditions to another fishery, and you might as well of held a 60 man cribbage tourney!! By the way I think my Dad and Chuck would have entered!! Thats why I seldom get too concerned about weather as it just is what it is. You deal with it or tip you hat to it. Theres always tomorrow!!

Thanks. I was shooting 53 degrees today. Water is turning over and wind is switching from East to West to South to North……..Glad there are only 4 wind directions
