Was reading the post prior to the trip and wishing i could join, but will shoot for next year. Have been to Rainy a few years ago with mixed results mostly slow trolling reefs, is that something this group does or were we way off base? What did you guys think of the fishing and the overall trip, should i get ready for next year?

    Thanks, Rogan

Hi Rogan!! As Zonar eluded to we were in the Grips of “Ma Natures” fury during the heart of our trip. Guys were still catching nice fish, but a brutal cold snap pushed in with strong winds made fishing more difficult than usual. My buddies battled through the tough weather landing 35-50 walleyes a day. The first day was nice, and we did well on both Crappies and Walleyes. I’m doing a full recap with pics to be posted shortly here on this forum. DEFINATLEY a Must attend trip. BTW With the recent (1 Day) weather stability the big tanks are now again SNAPPING!! I’m in the process of ATTEMPTING to catch up on Guide Trip photos along with the Houseboat Excursion, AND my Trip to Pasha Lake!! This trip with IDO members is a Must Attend outing!!
