This simply can’t be discussed enough. I love seeing anglers “Leaning Over” for big fish!! After anglers have fought, landed, and photographed their Rainy Lake Trophy the next brief period of time is critical in ensuring that fish swims another day, and smacks another bait. Our mid-summer warm water walleyes tend to be a little bit more fussy at boatside. Expedite the CPR process. Prepare yourself to catch big fish. Hold the fish up right in the water until the fish can gather the needed energy to make the exhausting swim back to the bottom to recover. 
The future of our fisheries literally is in all of our hands at one point or another!!
