Got back yesterday from a 7 day trip to Rainy on the Canadian side. Fishing was great. A trip that will be hard to top. A couple of days were windy and we got a little wet, a couple of days we almost baked and a couple of days were just plain beatiful. One thing in common was that the walleyes just kept biting. Best day for me was Friday with two 28″, a 26.5, a 24 and a bunch of eater size plus a fair amount of 21-23s. These walleys fight like crazy. My friends 16 yr old son and his buddy that went with us are now spoiled and think this is the way fishing should be all the time. I’m not too good at getting pics posted but will try to get my daughter to help me out. Too bad it will be a whole year before I get back to try it again.
