Each year we’re getting a few more Corporate outings. These trips range from key customers, loyal employees, and larger groups utilizing several licensed guides from our area. I personally work with the group organizers to help facilitate the entire package from Lodging, meeting rooms, dinners, and of course catching BIG FISH!! This past week Fellow Guide Ryan Schmidt worked along side myself while we entertained some customers/friends of Lake State Lumber. Kudos to Steve Wilson for organizing a fantastic experience for all involved!! We had an absolulute blast fishing with these boys, and as always customers left as friends!! The first day we caught some really beautiful walleyes, and enjoyed a giant shorelunch on the east end of Rainy Lake. The second day we flat out Pounded the Big Tank Walleyes we hype so much, and then took a scenic boat ride up to the Dam at Kettle falls before hiking in to the Kettle falls hotel for lunch!! Those who have been secluded to the west end of Rainy Lake are sometimes shortchanged of the magnificent untamed wild of the East end through the Brule Narrows. Beyond the fantastic fishing which I often write about we have arguably the most pristine settings for a Rainy Lake shorelunch a guy could ever dreaming of laying eyes on, and to top that off with a Kettle falls tour will surely make a lasting impression for all of your team!! For those of you considering either a small or large corporate trip to Rainy Lake in the future we welcome the phone call and run all 4 seasons. We will work dilligently to assure this will be a trip of a lifetime you’ll want to do every year!! We customize our packages to fit the needs of all customers big or small!!

We also run top of the line boats, Top of the line tackle, and only have our guests stay at premiere lodging overlooking the wonders of Rainy Lake. First class in every way!! Whether utilizing the beautiful Rainy Lake Housboats, or a couple highly recommended Resorts you are assured comfort, relaxation and style.

Please be aware that larger groups that call for multiple guides will want to plan in advance. Proper notification as well as planning will allow me to handpick the best of the best for your trip!! I fully understand the need for your group outing to work smoothly and efficiently, and strive for perfection. Your customers will feel pampered while being showered with Rainy Lake Tank fish!!

    Hi Wies,

I’ve fished Rainy Lake for about 12 years, and about the last 6 years day in and day out. I’m still a student of the Big fish Game, and I think that has been a key ingrediant to our success. I’ve been a hardcore walleye fisherman since I was a kid, and when normal kids were smashing up there big wheels I was watching instructional Jigging videos from the Lindner boys. I have a library of Walleye books I’ve memorized. Of course on top of that it it doesn’t hurt to fish waters that have large populations of trophy fish!! Lastly there is NO SUBSTITUTE for Passion. Several years ago I knew I needed to pursue a career inside a true passion of my life. Never have regretted that decision.

Way to get the home town boys on some fish Chris. It has been many years since I sat next to Steve in math class in high school. Looks like another great trip.

Your are a prime example of what makes parents so proud!! You have always and continue to be a “1st” class son, an excellent business man, a absolute great person to fish with and you still can make me laugh so hard that I just about choke to death.

    Good job Chris!!!!
