Not according to Rob Abe and Michael Abe!! Pleasure was all mine once again fishing with this lethal father/son combination. Whether this team is found staring down a Marcum under the shelter of an Otter portable, or the air ride seat of the Rainydaze heat seeking Skeeter these boys flat out catch big fish (And I’m not gonna lie……….we get along NICELY!! Dad was busy slinging H20 Precision jigs off the back while son Michael simply “rips lips” with his secret vertical presentation I’ve been sworn to not ever repeat. Michaels single handed effort of 25 Rainy Lake eyes today found half of his fish surpassing 20 inches bringing new meaning to “If I could only be like Mike” for many walleye fishing “wannabees”. Nets full of Tankers today boys!! A conservative 55-60 eyes today between the 3 of us (with most of my day on the camera or in the net)……….plus some bonus pike got a firsthand glimpse of the “Daze FishCasket”. Many fish were granted and exclusive chance to sparkle an eye for IDO!! Michael eeks out big fish honors with his 26.25!!! With a close encounter we don’t really want to talk about.

FOF (Fish on Fire) Please help us put it out.

    ONLY GETTING HOTTER!!

LOL!! We’re fortunate enough to have willing biters 4 seasons up here when you get on the right pods of fish. July/August are often times the best months for large numbers of quality fish. September/October tend to be my personal best Tanker walleye months.

What were you tipping the jigs with if you don’t mind me asking??

Michael it looks like you’ve grown a foot since ice season. Now I really don’t want to be at work today.
