62 pics on my Digital Camera after yesterday. Trying to hustle some of the better pics on before we head out……”Smile your on IDO Boys!!” Great day. 100 fish easy with an even mix of pike and walleyes. TANK PIKE…………TANK WALLEYES!! Biggest pike was a fish scale under 40 inches, and must have ate a BEAVER prior to nates bait!! Next biggest pike was a quality 37 inch fish. Biggest walleye measured 26 1/4 inches. Around 20 walleyes in the 25 to 25 1/2 inch class. Good mess of 20-23 inch fish with about 7-8 small enough to eat. Congratulations Gentleman!! Tough to select a top 12 pics to post, but with limited time……HERE WE GO!!

Ringworms continue to fool many of the biggest and baddest fish. 1/8 to 3/16 oz. H20 Jig with a 3/4 ringworm in a multitude of colors. I Was making the assumption we’d run into many Memorial day fisherman yesterday…..NOPE??? This pattern continues to be hot, and we’re enjoying the “milkrun”. We’re simply working transition areas with deeper scattered boulders along with some newly formed cabbage beds. Not usually fishing deeper than 12ft for the bigger fish. As is often times the case on Rainy Lake I believe there is a deeper walleye bite for bigger fish starting to develop also. Yesterday we continued to see some smaller walleyes get in the mix with 10 beautiful 15-16.5 inch fish along with the tanks!! Some of our customers have been utilizing Xraps also. Another big fish parade yesterday. Biggest walleye taped 27 1/4 inches and was a very heavy Rainy Lake fish. I believe this is often one of the more difficult times for visitors to pattern fish. I’ll try get the pics up to date tonight!! Ho Hum…..Back to chasing the Big and Dumb!!
