Getting after it on Rainy Lake!!!

    Took the New WX2100 for its Maiden Voyage through the Granite cuts of the Back channel yesterday. Water is low to start the season, so anglers need to exercise caution. Another absolutely breathtaking day on the Big lake.

    Anglers keep in mind as your out chasing monster pike you MIGHT also catch some big spawning walleyes. Take a quick pic, and immediately relase these trophy fish. Multiple species are getting to the plugs before the big pike at times yesterday.

    Check out the big pike that narrowly escaped a Bald eagle. My guess would be eagles get a few pike in the spawning season.

    Caught about 17 pike yesterday.

    Is there ANYTHING that’s as much fun as cruising around in a new boat? I hope the honeymoon last all summer!

    2 weeks to the day till I take my first voyage in the new “fish Casket”

    Nice to see they are startin to turn on up there Chris, save some for the kids from chi town! Looking forward to laying another beat down on Rainy’s gators

    Top end the way it is propped right now is 55mph. That is running 5700RPM’s, and not tweeked or broke in yet. I could likely expect 58 with some different pitch, and broke in. Thats a lot of speed for this big boat especially considering its much deeper hull design than many like glass boats. Ride is superior flat out SUPERIOR!!
