Congrats on the new ride. When will you get her on the water for the first test spin?

Oh, by the way, nice boat too.

That’s not the same color as your fishing line in the House Boat show is it? James will have fun with that!

    Regardless… nice ride!

Hey Guys!! I’ve been working with Dave Marquart at the Skeeter Boat Center for 2 years before finally being able to say I’m officially on the “SWAT” team. I’m pretty frugal on big investments like this, but this just seemed to make sense all around the board. Both from the corners of economic sense longterm, and fishability for a multi-species angler like myself. Dave and I worked through color schemes for nearly a YEAR!! LOL!! I’m very excited to upgrade my guide boat to glass, and pairing that up with Yamaha makes me VERY HAPPY!! I’ll likely spend the day filling it up with tackle, rods, anchors and misc. stuff which there is so much room for I cannot believe!! Cheryl actually got into one of the front storage compartments!! LOL!! Should slip it into the water on Sunday, but I’ll be in the water all day today!! Gotta run………I’VE GOT A NEW BOAT!! Yes those Big eyes will be seeing RED!! I’ll try get some pics today to illustrate the unbelievable storage I mentioned, and show how even a fishing guides arsenol can be stowed safely and orderly!! I’ll also try illustrate how we rigged this machine to dominate big borderland waters on a daily basis!!

Later BOYS!! I’m PLAYING WITH MY NEW BOAT TODAY!!

LOL!! Hey Nick!! A number of years ago I made a decision that I would change careers to enable myself to work inside a passion of mine. I was always jealous of the guys/gals that seemingly LOVED their job. Cheryl and I made a bold move leaving the hustle and bustle to the solitudes of the northwooods. Make no mistake a transition like that wasn’t an easy one, but we have been rewarded for it everyday. We love the Northwoods, and couldn’t be more happy sharing the boat with people that are just like us. I often think it has enabled me to better understand our customers wants and needs beings I was just like them when I lived in southern Minnesota as a younger man. We feel very fortunate to be able to provide our customers with what we feel is an ultimate experience hammering monster fish here on these pristine borderland waters!!

Can’t wait to meet you 2 this summer Nick!! YOU’LL fall in love with Rainy Lake NO DOUBT!! Nothing more pristine, versatile and picturesque only 4 1/2 hours from the Twin Cities!!

Thanks James!! If I hadn’t filmed in your Skeeter I’d likely have stayed in Tin. I bet you can remember my simple awestruck look on my face when you tipped your 1950 up onto those big east end waves after I took a sloberknocking coming back from dropping Cheryl off. I think that sealed the deal that Skeeter was not only the best equipped to handle my needed versatility while fishing, but would also keep me from suffering from back spasms while on the water ALL SUMMER LONG!! By the way I had Dave install a Smooth Move seat system in the Captains Corner!! As my dad used to say “In for a Penny……In for a Pound!!”

    Thanks again Pal!!

Well at least its a nice subtle color that is hard to see from a mile away…
You are going to have to come up with a whole new “dummy marker” system/program/strategy.
If the great fish spirit smiles upon me, I may get to see that boat up close and personal in about 5 weeks.
    Congrats on your new toy.
    Don’t break it.

Nice rig! That will make the run to the east end of the lake so much smoother. Just take it easy chasing crappies for a while. The lake is pretty low and lower unit eating rocks are hungry after a long winter.

dang nice ride my friend. +1 on backing that up your beast of a driveway. i can barely make it up there on foot.

don’t worry when we’re in that baby Johnny will fend off anyone who comes to close with his slip bobber bullets!
