Rainy Lake – ice free?

The bays are ice free, but still some main lake ice in stretches. Really getting black now though, so should be ice free very soon. This is a recipe for a fantastic fishing opener!! Look for serious Pigs to be caught!!

Thanks pal. We might make a quick run in the boat to hit the last of the walleye season…….

Looks like its going pretty fast! Must be about time for Chris to start putting Ginormous Pike in that new boat!

Hoping to have that boat in my hands Monday. Looking to possibly do some filming with the “Great OZ” first part of next week, and then……the New Skeet will be dipped into Rainy Gold!! Can’t help but wonder if this boat “Fancy Pants” knows what she’s in for!! If you get back for a day or 2 I’ll have you jump in and Huck bait at the biggest and baddest!!
