    a 2 lber from Rainy is an honest 15 inches, and a 16 incher is pushing 2 lb 6 to 12 oz.

    How is your ice doing this week ?
    you said 4 wheelers is best, are sleds still workable, or is that a bad idea.
    I know you’ll know better in 2 weeks.

    LOL!!! Sounds Good Jack!!

    Most of the big thick 15 inch fish are going an honest 2lbs. Biggest I’ve personally weighed went 2lbs 9 oz. That special fish went 16.5 inches. We get a lot of 15-15.5 fish…….Well not a lot, but have iced 19-20 so far this year. with 8 around the 15 3/4 mark, and 1 surpassing 16 inches!! I’m still in hot pursuit of the 17 this year. Can’t fault the effort!! But so far very elusive.
