I agree with you Chris, nothing better than having to hold onto your kids lifejacket while they are fighting big fish.

Sometime the youngsters get bored while we are searching for a hot bite so we take a few spins around the lake. Keeping the kids happy and excided is part of them having fun. Chasing minnows, eating snacks, searching through dad’s tackle boxes are all part of a great day on the water for kids.
Good post Chris…I think this is too-often overlooked in the mach 4 lifestyle most of us lead. I love having my kids in the boat – lotsa laughs, questions, more questions, and most important – memories! Now toss in the bonus, they are even turning into pretty darn good little fisher-people! 
What a great post Chris. Not only is my favorite part watching them reel in the big one, but its starts with them picking out the perfect minnows, leaning over the minnow tanks standing on their tippy toes on the stool making sure they are first in line to grab the minnow bag and haul it to the boat. Just the pure enjoyment of how excited they are to do a sport we all love.
No question viewing the world through the eyes of kids makes us all remember the “FUN” in sports. I love it. Maybe we can all put together some kids pics!! I’ll make a seperate post for it!!
