We Missed it!!

    For once we missed a big early season snowstorm here on Rainy Lake. We’re keeping our fingers crossed Mother Nature continues to blow this bitter air, and limits our snowfall. Right now we have little snow cover on the main body of water, and a few inches of snow covering the bays. I plan to let things form up for a few more days, and then will be testing things out next week. 11 below right now!! Nothing but COLD COLD COLD in the forecast!! As always be VERY VERY Cautious venturing out on newly formed ice.

    Thats awesome, hopefully the ice gets nice and thick before heavy snow comes!

    You have to be building some good ice with the lack of snow cover and them cold temps I’ve been seeing up there!!

    Got out on about 7 inches of ice today for a couple hours.
    Oh by the way……….28 inch Bruiser Walleye!!

    Find that spot for the rental yet chris,we need big fish under it next month.Gotta up that PB this winter and keep the trend going.30″ or bust!
