Awesome sharing the boat with you boys again!! Montana IDO boys…”MONTUCKY” and “UNCLE TOUCHY”….LOL!! I love those names!! Got up to put a little Beatdown on the Rainy Fish yesterday. Caught a nice mix of big girls, and eating fish. Ended up boxing a nice limit of eaters for a hot oil bath, and a couple good pike too!! I’m sure you know how to get those y bones out now. Always a pleasurable day in the boat with you guys!! I’m pretty sure we solved a lot of the worlds problems!! Look forward to our next trip!! Hey Montucky…Better get some rest the night before our next adventure!! LOL!! You did make the Daze Top 5 list….. I was afraid you might even get in the Daze Top 2 list

What is that, like a 15 hour rode trip? Nice fish ,but take the snow back with you for another 4 weeks. I have a couple inches still in the yard. Looks like some nice weather up their with low winds by the look of the pics.

    Hey Buddy,

Sounds like your weather has been worse than ours!! Guess you’ll have to head north for Cocunut drinks and Walleye slaying!!

I was wondering about those bulging eye-balls myself. What gives with that?

My assumption is that it’s a pressure change problem, and not a birth defect. It’s the 2nd one I’ve witnessed this year. Now with that being said we’ve boated several thousand walleyes so it is pretty rare to say the least, but still strange. I’d like to think it was just freaked about Seeing the Daze Team on the water……. But I doubt it.

Looking forward to fishing with you Mike!! The fish await you!!

A and T I had 18 inches of snow earlier this month so there is no shortage back in Montana. Yeah its a 15 hour drive, and yes we drive past Ft Peck and the rest of the reservoirs on the Missouri system, Devils Lake, Mille Lac etc.. just to fish the ole Grey Lady of the North. I usually spend 3 to 4 weeks a year fishing Rainy and have yet to be disappointed. I try to hook up with RD at least once a year on the water if possible. Everyone needs to go once with RD just to get a feel for what the patterns are doing on the lake.

Yes RD we solved a lot of problems there in “Falcon Crest”

    Thanks RD!

Next time the Montana Crew will be better rested

Here are some photos of the rest of the trip
