the average crappie in this lake has to be one of the best in the country!!! the ones on the broom handle are all over 14 inches, but i cant quite get a 16 incher to put on the wall..between 3 of us we managed 3 limits and had a blast doing it!!! 1 triple 6 doubles and a bonus 27 inch walleye…on 4lbs test…fun. we got 3 limits of walleyes the next 2 days also…all i can say is gold was by far the color..3 to 8 fow…if anyone wants a crazy time fishing with lots of fish and lots of big fish…call a guide like chris and its as close to a slam dunk as it gets right now…

    Great fish Z85!!!

We had our 1st annual In Depth Outdoors/Rainy Lake houseboat excursion ending on Sunday. We mainly fished east with lots of nice walleyes, and I thought hard about coming back to chase after those big papermouths!! Great Job!!!

We had a great time too, and it sure is hard to beat this weather!!

Look forward to fishing with you someday soon.

We’re in the planning stages for next years excursion, so if your interested, or want to put together a group of boys you’d be a great addition!! All you need to do is love to catch fish!!

LOL!! I do have a nice office!! Thats awesome, and keep close contact as when James, Myself and Billy from Rainy Lake houseboats get through some of the finer details we’ll announce next years excursion. I know we turned several groups away this year, and I’m not sure how many boats we’ll limit it to next year. It is my understanding that we are going to open this up to more houseboats, and we’d love to have you along Z-85!! Always nice to have more local influence too!! Take Care and Keep putting the Beatdown on those big fish!!
