BTW this little guy can flat out pitch jigs!! Obviously growing up on the river with a jig stick in his hand!! In fact good ole dad started him out right with a 6 ft St. Croix Avid!! And he can use it!! BTW Dad got into the action too!!

I wouldn’t doubt it. Kudos to all the dads out there taking there kids along on the fishing trips. Even with an ailing economy ther still is no better investment than in our kids!! Each year I witness first hand dads and moms hooking these boys and girls on a lifetime of good clean fun!! Hats off to you!! We as outdoorsman know the rich life you live with the passion for the outdoors, and passing that on to our kids is definately PRICELESS!! 
Do you ever sit back and think about how proud you are of a PB you post on a trip or just nice fish pics you get to show your buddies?? Imagine the impact that taking your kids fishing has on the great sport of fishing. I’m sure glad we took our UP NORTH fishing trips!! Nothing I looked forward to more, and likely kept me out of a bit of trouble!!

I have a 5 year old that is absolutely nuts over fishing and I couldn’t be happier than hearing “Dad can we go fishing today”! 
This is the future of our sport and I have had more fun watching him catch walleyes on Mille Lacs and sunfish and crappies on local lakes. Take the time and get the youth away from the TV and computer and take them outdoors!
