    So we ATTEMPTED to locate some BIG shallow eyes this morning with limited success. About mid-morning I asked the boys if they had any interest in chasing big toads!! Not the kind you caught as a kid in the back pond either!! With there overwhelming approval we went on to put the DAZE BEATDOWN on the big bronzebacks!! OH BOY do I love smacking those Giant Rainy Lake Smallmouth!! I’ll be honest in that we missed far more than we caught, but WOW are they fun hurling themselves out of the water!! BTW this was all taking place in the Good ole USA for all you Smallie freaks!! THE BROWNFISH….YEP…..TURNED ON!! Get the spinning gear up here PRONTO!! I’ll try post a couple pics tonight!!

    Hey Boys!!

    Sorry the delay……The weather has been HOT….Too hot for my blood. Well not burning hot, but I think we pushed the mercury past 80 a couple days. Thats hot for Borderland folks!!

    Smallies seem to spank top water presentations one day, and snub them the next. Grubs, spinners, swimbaits, poppers, chuggers……Beautiful Fish!!
