1st 42 inch pike of the season

    We were on Rainy today pike fishing ,the fishing was a bit slow,Larry got this 42 incher the first fish of the day ,she was a beautiful fish.we ended up getting four,a 36 ” and a couple of smaller ones.

    Those dark colored Rainy fish are beautiful.

    Beautiful Fish Kelly!! If this weather gives us a little break today I’ll be heading out. Congrats to Larry!! Big fish Larry!! Nothing better than those big girls this time of year. I’m thinking this rain might warm the water up a bit too.

    Had a new Bow Mount installed on the Daze Fish Casket yesterday, so got out about 4pm to try her out. Bow mount worked wonderful Fished 2 1/2 hours and landed a 6 and 8lb pike. Had a big pike get over top of my leader and cut me Was reading 50 degrees in back bays.

    We got another 42.5 incher today ,saw a few other big ones and caught 10 smaller ones,The big girls are just about ready to put the feed bag on.

    Nice fish Kelly!!

    We put the BEAT DOWN on the pike today. Had 2 customers in the boat and we landed 27 pike. Biggest went 41 inches. I’ll have to get pics out of the guide camera. Not going out in the rain to get it out of the boat!!

    Oh…Rumor has it many walleyes are relating to same structure

    Snow ,sleet ,and rain but the pike are biting this was the biggest 42.5 still looking for that 50 incher.
