When hole hopping in cold conditions require the “KICK LOOSE” method be very very careful!! Heck if you ACTUALLY get your foot stuck you might not melt free until JULY the way things are going!! Oh JASON…. Don’t worry happens all the time!! LOL!!

A couple years ago I was pounding holes and had my lanyard hanging a bit too close to the auger. Bet you can figure out what happened there!! Yep Just about Popped my eyes out as it got wrapped around the auger!! Pretty funny when I put my eyes back in my head!! Fortunately no pics!!
I did that last-year carrying the auger,
I stepped in a f%*!%$ 10″ hole and came down on the top of the auger with my chin 
I woke up bleeding with the auger on my chest burning my jacket and my boot filling with water
