    Hey boys,

DESPITE inclimate weather conditions panfish have been going well. Walleyes have been placed in a weather induced COMA. IS what it IS. Anyone that tells you the fish are always going is fooling themselves. The Big Pike and eyes are going to start up heavy as soon as we start to get some fresh oxygenated water seeping through the ice. The snow cover needs to melt off and allow some sun penetration to rejuvenatte the big fish. We have concentrated our efforts on biting fish!! Pannies the size of Basketballs on Rainy and other area lakes known to give up many trophy class Gils and Papermouths!! Get yourself up here after this weekend as we will finally be entering into some late ice patterns. Expecting warm temps this weekend!! That is going to fire fish Up!! Chasing flags for Pike will be a lot of fun!! Slabs and Big gils will make for a great combo trip!! Limited out on big slabs last 3 trips with 60 big crappies a couple days ago!! Get on the horn boys!! Few trophy Gils, Crappies, Walleyes, or PIKE are caught in the living room!! Dates available!! Looks like there will be some great fishing in April this year!! Call in SICK!!

    Hey Z85,

Most Consisent Crappie action on Rainy Lake in the winter is on the Canadian side. Many of my personal Crappie adventures are taken on smaller area lakes on the US side. Crappie action is very consistent on the US side Spring and Fall on Rainy, but can be very spotty during the winter. Walleyes have slowed with this last front, but will pick up as soon as we get some REAL late ice conditions. Welcome to IDO!! Sounds like your new in town?? Enjoy Rainy Lake!!and don’t discount other area Panfish hot spots for big slabs like those or Gils the size of plates!! Absolute Treasure fishing waters up here!!

10 Day Forecast looks quite promising for the I-Falls area!! Chris, my crew is looking forward to meeting up with you next Friday. Hoping to hear great reports of trophy size pannies along with a change in the current walleye bite. Good luck to all those who venture out. Put the to them over the next week but be sure to save a few for me!

    Hey Brett,

Yep we’re hoping this snow drops/settles quick. Based on the weather forecast that looks quite possible. Also looks like it might be a bit sloppy out there!! I expect Pannies will be the focus until this snow gives way to a little light penetration, but who knows!!

    Look forward to it buddy!!
