    OK fellow Crappie Patrol Members!!

Press release from the Daze Camp….”Rainy is setting up really nice for Giant slabs this open water season!!” Nothing gets an anglers blood going like Giant Black Crappies, and based on what we’ve seen last spawn cycle, Fall and now this winter these crappies are BIG!! Not only are they long, but they are the heaviest crappies around. 2lb slabs are not uncommon. As many anglers know Crappies have relatively short life cycle in comparison to say walleyes. These fish are prime in size and numbers!! If “Ma Nature” plays nice it is going to be LIGHTS OUT FOR YOU!! Fortunately in test netting we have a very healthy population of all year classes. I believe the 2002 class is the dominate one right now. If you haven’t fished for the Basketball Rainy Lake crappies then….. YA might want to add it to you “Bucket List” FYI you may very well be rudely interupted by 7-10lb walleyes or 10lb plus pike in the process Hey DEAL WITH IT!!
